Florida – House Bill 157 (Chapter No. 2025-13) signed by the governor April 29 and effective October 1 makes certain changes related to service of process in Florida. Registered agent offices shall be kept open from at least from 10 am to noon and 2 to 4 pm each day except weekends and legal holidays. The bill also includes specific provisions for SOP on domestic entities in receivership and clarifies the process for substituted service on nonresidents or those concealing their whereabouts.
