MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information regarding the 1998 deaths of three people at their Lodi home.

It’s been 27 years since Cheryl Cady and her two children, Cory Cole and Bria Meitner, died from carbon monoxide poisoning at their Clar-Mar Drive home.

Though the tragedy occurred many years ago, the Sheriff’s Office has not given up hope in their search for answers as to what really happened that day.

A detective told WMTV 15 News in 2021 that authorities suspect foul play may have been involved.

To this day, detectives are still analyzing evidence and using new technology and investigative techniques in hopes of finding the truth, Sheriff Roger Brandner said.
