Lee Corso has been a fixture on ESPN's " College GameDay " for decades, picking college football winners and famously donning mascot headgear when picking the top game of the day.
The 90-year-old will make his final show appearance on Aug. 30, when preseason national contenders Texas and Ohio State meet in Columbus, Ohio.
Corso is also one of Indiana football 's most successful coaches, leading the Hoosiers from 1973-82 and guiding them to the 1979 Holiday Bowl . He was fired after the 1982 season and apparently found out he was done while listening to the radio on a recruiting trip.
That didn't stop him from trying draw top talent to Bloomington, according to Pro Football Hall of Famer Rod Woodson .
