Going into 2025 as a contender for another NFC North title and a deep run into the playoffs, the Detroit Lions are bolstered by one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.

ESPN’s annual projection of the NFL’s best 100 players for the upcoming season is further acknowledgement that the Lions have one of the most competitive rosters in the league.

Detroit placed eight players on the list — decided on by 10 NFL analysts and insiders — which ranked second in the league behind reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles with 10.

The Lions have rocketed up the list the past few years under coach Dan Campbell with no picks in 2022, four players in 2023 and six going into last season.
