LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police made an arrest after a 15-year-old boy was robbed of his electronics, shoes and inhaler outside North Star High School on Friday.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery outside the school just before 2:15 p.m.

The victim told police he was near the track when two unknown males approached him and told him to give them his belongings.

The two males took his shoes, backpack, laptop, phone, headphones and inhaler, for a total loss estimated at more than $1,100.

The North Star School Resource Officer reviewed surveillance video of the incident and was able to identify one of the suspects as 18-year-old Angelo Givans of Lincoln.

Givans was located and arrested just after 3 p.m. Some of the victim’s belongings were recovered during the arrest.
