WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - If you transferred property in Trumbull County between 2020 and 2022, an error has triggered a refund.
According to Trumbull County Auditor Martha Yoder, there was an error in the application for Current Agricultural Use Value (CAUV) soil values in more than 2,000 parcels, and a refund is due.
Yoder said that most of the refunds have been issued to the property owners. She says that there are almost 500 parcels that were transferred during those years, but the auditor's office does not have an address for the owners.
Yoder is looking for the owners so she can issue the refunds. Her office has created a web page on the Trumbull County Auditor's website listing the affected parcels by township and municipality. From there, owners can look for their name, address and
