Syracuse, N.Y. — Former Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord will be released by the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a report by NFL Insider Jordan Schultz .

McCord, the Eagles’ sixth-round draft pick this year, is the odd man out in Philly’s QB room after the team traded for Vikings quarterback Sam Howell over the weekend.
