Manchester United had to settle for a point in their second Premier League game of the season this weekend after being pegged back in a 1-1 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

United went into the game having been encouraged by their performance by the season opener against Arsenal last week. Ruben Amorim's side fell to a 1-0 defeat on the opening weekend, but there were some positive signs from the performance.

After a goalless first half against Fulham, which saw Bruno Fernandes miss a penalty, United took the lead in the 58th minute when defender Leny Yoro forced an Rodrigo Muniz own goal from Bryan Mbeumo ’s corner.

But Fulham drew level with 17 minutes left to play through substitute Emile Smith Rowe. Both teams pushed for a winner towards the end of the game with chances
