The six-year journey is finally nearing its end: Devils winger Arseniy Gritsyuk is almost in Newark.

Gritsyuk, who has been sharing his travel plans on social media all week , made the multi-flight trek from Russia — with two stops in Montreal and Ottawa — and will arrive in New Jersey this week, a person with knowledge of his plans told NJ Advance Media. Per the Devils, he will wear No. 81.
