The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is bringing a mobile unit to the parking lot of U.S. Rep. Rob Menendez’s district office in Jersey City on Sept. 2.
The mobile unit, which can help residents get REAL IDs, will be available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 257 Cornelison Ave. in Jersey City.
Appointments are available through Menendez’s office, according to a social media post on Sunday.
Appointments for the mobile unit will become available online at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at the MVC website .
All visitors must secure an appointment in advance and bring proper identification that meets the state’s six-point ID verification system.
