When the Celtics take the court for the 2025-26 NBA season, plenty of fans are going to see new faces . That’s the natural cycle of the league as the C’s went through massive changes this offseason to slim payroll.

Yes, there are some familiar names like Jaylen Brown, Derrick White and Payton Pritchard. Of course, Jayson Tatum is also sidelined indefinitely with his Achilles injury as it remains to be seen if he’ll even play this upcoming season. But otherwise, compared to the past couple years, the C’s look significantly different.
