A proposal to raze a single-family home in Worcester to make way for two new buildings with 10 housing units will be reviewed by the city’s zoning board of appeals.

The board will meet Monday, Aug. 25, to look at the plan, which was submitted by Ruth and Wolff Gentil of Grafton, according to the application .

The proposal calls for the destruction of a house on 43 Heywood St., which is owned by Ruth and Wolff Gentil, according to the city’s property records . The house was bought by the Gentils in 2020 for $288,000.
