RUSTON, La. (KNOE) - Radiance Technologies announced it will build a microchip facility in Ruston with the support of Louisiana Tech University, the Louisiana Tech University Foundation, and the Louisiana Economic Development.

The 40,000 sq. foot facility was announced during a press conference at Louisiana Tech on Aug. 25.

Radiance Technologies is a Huntsville-based tenant company in Louisiana Tech’s Enterprise campus. It focuses on innovative solutions for defense, intelligence, and security customers.

“We’re thrilled to expand Radiance’s footprint in Ruston and throughout North Louisiana,” said Radiance CEO Bill Bailey. “This partnership is a win-win opportunity that will benefit, Radiance, LA Tech, Ruston, and the entire state.”
