Duke football will open its 2025 campaign in just a few days when Elon makes a trip to Wallace Wade Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 28, at 7:30 p.m.

The Blue Devils return 14 members from their 9-4 squad in 2024 that made it to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl in its first season under Manny Diaz. Duke signed 28 members in its 2025 class and welcomes nine additions from the transfer portal.

Duke also opened its 2024 season against the Phoenix, defeating them 26-3 in what was Manny Diaz's coaching debut. The Blue Devils now look to get their ninth overall win over Elon on Thursday night.
