Former champion Daniil Medvedev is anticipating a hefty fine following a spectacular outburst at match point that riled the US Open crowd and postponed his thrilling five-set defeat to Benjamin Bonzi.

The temperamental Russian was furious when, with Bonzi serving at 5-4 and advantage in the third set, a camera operator wandered onto the court between the Frenchman's first and second serve, creating a brief interruption that umpire Greg Allensworth ruled warranted a replay of his first serve for Bonzi.
