The 2028 presidential primary schedule is looming over the Democratic National Committee ( DNC ) meeting in Minneapolis this week, as some Democrats hope for a reversal of a change for which former President Joe Biden advocated.

A DNC spokesperson told Newsweek the party is committed to a "fair, rigorous, and transparent process" for setting the primary schedule.
