Arkansas police are looking into reports of an active shooter on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

On Monday, Aug. 25, students at the University of Arkansas received a report through the RazALERT Emergency Notification system to stay away from the school’s Mullins Library, due to an active shooter, according to the North West Arkansas Democrat Gazette .

The library is near the Student Union.

“Avoid. Deny. Defend," the RazALERT Emergency Notification read.

Police have set up a perimeter around the area, and students are being evacuated, per the Gazette.
