Braxton Carpenter, Edgewood, RB

Carried the rushing load for the Mustangs in a 38-0 thrashing of Mitchell, with 19 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns.

Luke Freel, North, S/WR

Scored the first touchdown of the year for the Cougars in their 28-14 loss to Mooresville, with a 44-yard pick-6. Also had five tackles and caught one pass for three yards.

Lincoln Getts, Edgewood DE

The Mustangs posted a 38-0 shutout in their opener against Mitchell, setting the running clock in motion
