A months-long Indiana State and Bloomington police investigation culminated with arrests of a dozen people on drug-related charges when search warrants were served at two Bloomington homes Aug. 22.
Police say that on Friday they searched a house in the 400 block of North Fairview Street and an apartment in the 500 block of West Terry Lane.
An ISP news release said both are located within 500 feet of a school or park, which allows for more serious charges to be filed.
The house is not far from Fairview Elementary School and close to Rev. Ernest D. Butler Park on Ninth Street. The apartment is near the Prep School on 17 th Street.
The news release said investigators seized 2 ounces of cocaine, 1.5 ounces of crack, 1.5 ounces of heroin and more than 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine. They r
