FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Ft. Wayne’s Farmers Market has rebranded.
It will now be known as the Summit City Farmers Market.
According to the Electric Works Public Market Trust, the farmers’ market will continue to operate on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Electric Works without interruption, serving the community with fresh produce, quality meats, artisan baked goods, and handcrafted items.
The Electric Works Public Market Trust, which currently has oversight of the farmers’ market, says operations transitioned a year ago when its founder retired.
According to the trust, a disagreement on the remaining terms of the transition has resulted in the rebrand.
