FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Monday will be even chillier than Sunday, which only topped out in the mid 70s in the afternoon. Overnight into Monday morning, temperatures will fall down into the low 50s, then only rebound into the upper 60s and low 70s, about 10-15 degrees colder than normal for this time of year. This will be the same situation on Tuesday afternoon. These are temperatures you would expect for early October.
Both Monday and Tuesday, a few sprinkles are possibly, but not likely.
Temperatures will be slowly returning to normal by next weekend. Afternoon high temperatures in the mid 70s on Wednesday and Thursday.
