WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. (WJW) -- A Florida man is charged with murder following a night out at a bar that led to a former co-worker coming to his home and an ensuing argument over a dog, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to Evan Stanley's home the morning of Aug. 20 after Stanley reportedly called 911 to say there had been a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies said they found a man who had been shot and killed at the scene. He was identified as Keval Mehta. Police then questioned Stanley.

The two were former co-workers, deputies learned. Mehta reportedly took Stanley home from a nearby bar around 2 a.m.
