Following the arrest of a Boston employee on felony gun charges, Mayor Michelle Wu said the city will review how he was hired in the first place.

When asked Monday about the arrest of Ibrahim, the mayor reiterated that he is on unpaid leave.

"We are a city that holds our city workers to incredibly high standards," Wu said.

She also said the city's internal investigation will include a review of how he was hired with a criminal record that included violence and firearms.
