CORY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Two juveniles were injured with burns, one having to be air lifted, after an explosion occurred in a pizza oven at the Bad Apple Saloon on August 15.

According to the incident report from the Clay County Sheriff's Office, a deputy on patrol responded to the incident around 4:45 p.m. after learning two juveniles were injured in the incident. The report states that upon arrival, the deputy observed the juveniles being given medical attention from Cory fire personnel.

The deputy then learned that one of the juveniles had taken the brunt of the injuries, receiving facial burns and having blisters on her hands.
