The Zurich Classic of New Orleans set another milestone for charitable giving at this year’s tournament.
The annual PGA Tour event produced a record $3.6 million in proceeds to be donated to local and regional children’s charities, Zurich officials announced Monday.
Boosted by the return of superstar Rory McIlroy and playing partner Shane Lowry, the 2025 Zurich Classic set records for attendance and sales at the April 24-27 tournament.
Proceeds from those record numbers will be directed to nonprofit children's service organizations in the New Orleans-Baton Rouge region by the Fore!Kids Foundation, which operates the event for the PGA Tour. The foundation donated $3.3 million to nonprofits last year and has donated more than $54 million since its inception.
