LSU football coach Brian Kelly does not like when college student-athletes celebrate in the middle of a game.

In Monday afternoon's press conference, Kelly explained why he enjoyed having veteran transfer additions like Houston transfer A.J. Haulcy and N.C. State transfer Tamarcus Cooley on the roster.

"They have practiced, they have competed in the manner that we thought that they would," Kelly said. "They attack every practice. They're our hardest workers. That, in my experience, has proven to be the differentiator between those guys who haven't played a lot of football and have."

Kelly started smiling when thinking of specific examples of how older players usually act on the field.
