MCHENRY COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) - North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 19-year-old man from Bottineau is dead following a rear-end crash 10 miles west of Upham on Saturday night.

According to NDHP, around 11:45 p.m., a Chevy truck rear-ended a semi that was broken down on the shoulder of 80th St. N.

A Dodge truck was also hit in the incident; it was parked nose-to-nose with the semi while the occupants were trying to fix the semi.

The driver of the Chevy died on scene. No one else was injured.
