Liverpool, N.Y. – New York State Police have put out a request for the public’s assistance in locating a Liverpool woman who was last seen in the city of Syracuse.

Lauren A. North, 34, has been missing since Aug. 6 when she was seen leaving St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse at around 2:45 p.m., State Police said in a press release.

North was reported missing after she failed to return home, the release said. This was considered unusual behavior by her family, who reported her missing the next day, Trooper Jennifer Jiron said.

Police say North is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. They also say it is unknown what she was wearing at the time of disappearance.
