Law enforcement investigated reports of an active shooter at the University of Arkansas on Monday.

Classes were canceled for the day, but housing, most dining, and transit services remained open.

Law enforcement received multiple calls Monday about scenes at and near the University of Arkansas, including Mullins Library, according to Cpl. Natalie Eucce, Fayetteville Police Department spokesperson.

There were no confirmed gunshots, no confirmed injuries and no crime scenes as of 1:45 p.m., Eucce said.
