A second-year Penn State safety was one of the stars of preseason camp.

During the latter stages of Penn State’s preseason practices, first-year defensive coordinator Jim Knowles singled out a second-year safety as his Defender of the Day.

Knowles isn’t the only PSU coach who is a fan of redshirt freshman Antoine Belgrave-Shorter’s game.
