Hello there! Can you believe we’re already heading into Labor Day weekend? The unofficial end of summer is here, bringing us beautiful weather—but also the usual holiday travel headaches.

Weather

After the heat wave that kicked off the week in Spokane, the holiday weekend looks much more comfortable. Expect plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 80s—warm, but not nearly as hot as last weekend’s upper 90s.

Across the Northwest, conditions should be pleasant overall, with only a slight chance of a few light showers on the west side of the Cascades.

Travel

As always, Labor Day travel will be busy and congested. If you’re headed toward Seattle, give yourself extra time and expect longer delays, especially on Friday.
