The Chicago Bears are continuing to trim down their roster ahead of their season opener, and they made more moves Monday.

Highlighting the moves was the decision to move defensive back Zah Frazier to the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.

That move means Frazier won’t play in at least the first four games of the season for the Bears. He has not practiced since the spring, with the team calling it a “personal issue” but not providing any other details.

Frazier was drafted by the Bears in the 2024 draft, but did not appear in a game for the squad in his rookie season.

The Bears also waived eight players, including quarterback Austin Reed, running back Ian Wheeler and tight end Joel Wilson.
