GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI – A driver was freed after being trapped in his pickup truck following a rollover crash on Baldwin Road, according to the Grand Blanc Township Fire Department.

Crews reported to the crash at 1:03 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, on Baldwin Road just west of Vassar Road.

The vehicle had rolled several times before hitting a tree and trapping the driver against a tree, according to a fire department news release.

Fire crews arrived to the crash site within six minutes and began extrication efforts, per the release. He was freed from the vehicle less than 10 minutes after crews arrived.

The release states the driver was taken to a local hospital by Patriot Ambulance.
