A Front Royal man who led Warren County deputies in a high-speed pursuit on Thursday is now in jail.
Xavier Davonne Roy, 30, of Front Royal, is charged with felony eluding law enforcement, reckless driving, destruction of property, driving on a suspended license and possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance.
Roy is being held without bond at the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail. Roy is scheduled to appear in Warren County General District Court on Tuesday.
The Sheriff’s Office states in a release on Monday that deputies tried to stop a vehicle driven by Roy, who was wanted on two felony warrants for failing to appear in court. The attempted stop occurred near the 200 block of West Duck Street at approximately 7:05 p.m.
