As the owner of the Upper East Side’s upscale Lowell Hotel since 1982, Lebanese-born developer Fouad Chartouni is known for his take on luxury. At the Lowell, which is gearing up to celebrate its centennial in 2027, the hotel suites far outnumber the rooms.

The same is true for a luxury resort-style spec house that Chartouni, who’s also a real estate developer and president of Kensico properties, has built in the Hamptons.
