Britain is set for a lengthy Indian summer with two more months of warm temperatures. Forecasters reckon it is set to stay toasty until around Halloween time. ‌

They have predicted 30C in September and up to 23C in the normally chillier October. Their welcome forecasts come as the country is set to be buffeted from 600-mile wide Hurricane Erin from across the pond. ‌

The 600-mile wide Erin will clear beaches for the final week of school holidays with downpours and 25ft waves today (Tue) then gusty winds and more rain
