Owl Bar shooting victims remembered nearly one month later

Anaconda reeled Aug. 1 as news spread of the shooting at the Owl Bar that brutally and abruptly ended the lives of four people.

Three victims were customers: Tony Wayne Palm, 74; Daniel Edwin Baillie, 59; and David Alan Leach, 70.

The fourth victim was bartender Nancy Lauretta Kelley, 64. Family and friends said she had embraced tending bar after retiring as a nurse because she enjoyed socializing.

The mass shooting quickly became a national and international story.
