WEYMOUTH, Mass. —

The man who was found dead in a car parked near South Shore Hospital has been identified, Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz said.

Declan Perry, 27, of Portland, Maine, was found wrapped in several blankets secured with duct tape in the backseat of a black 2019 Honda Civic on Saturday, just after 2 p.m. Latest Forecast

The Civic was parked at the front of the hospital's emergency room entrance when Perry's body was found.

Perry was declared dead just minutes after his body was found.

Video from the scene showed investigators near the car, which showed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the car's front windshield.
