The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference has reached into New York state to welcome three prominent men's volleyball programs, accepting Vassar College and SUNY New Paltz, plus New York University.
The three schools will leave the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) and join the NEWMAC circuit for 2026-27, enabling the NEWMAC champ to gain an automatic bid into the NCAA Div. III tournament. The NEWMAC currently has Emerson, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Springfield, and Wheaton will debut its program in 2025-26.
