A person was found dead at a house fire in Jackson Monday afternoon.

According to Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard, the home that caught fire is on Archer Avenue.

Jackson police and the Hinds County Coroner are on scene.

No cause of death has been released at this time. We will update as soon as we have more.
