MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department arrested a man last week on multiple charges after he allegedly ran away from authorities at Target, officials reported on Monday.

According to MPD, a call came in just before 2:45 p.m. on Friday for a person allegedly stealing from Target along the 200 block of S. Junction Road.

When officials arrived on scene, police said the 39-year-old was acting erratically and then he allegedly ran away.

MPD said officials chased the suspect and took him into custody.

He faces charges of felony bail jumping, resisting arrest and a warrant. More charges are also expected to be filed for store theft, MPD said.
