LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - KCBD NewsChannel 11 is partnering with the Lubbock ISD to take high school football broadcasts to the next level and on a bigger stage. KCBD, Lubbock ISD Athletics and LISD-TV will combine to broadcast and stream every home football game from Plains Capital Park at Lowrey Field this season.

The centerpiece of the agreement is a new KCBD-produced live broadcast franchise named “ The Thursday Night Throwdown .”
