DENVER (KDVR) — Investigators are asking the public for help in solving a 2021 homicide cold case, the Aurora Police Department announced in a post on X on Monday afternoon.
"The Aurora Police Department’s Major Crimes Homicide Unit is urgently asking for the public’s help in solving a 2021 homicide that remains unsolved. Detectives need new leads to bring justice for 54-year-old David Nash and closure for his family," said the agency in the post.
The incident occurred on Aug. 25, 2021, at 7:45 p.m. Nash left his apartment on East Alameda Place to go to the Bristol Pointe Liquor Store located at 830 S. Buckley Rd.
While walking south on South Buckley Road, near East Ohio Avenue, Nash ran into a man described as a black male, wearing a blue backpack, who was heading west on East Ohio Ave
