DENVER (KDVR) — More rain and cooler-than-normal temperatures are in Denver's weather forecast for the rest of the week and into Labor Day weekend.

Flooding could occur with and heavy rain that comes from thunderstorms, but the biggest risk for flooding will be in south central, as well as western and southwestern Colorado.

Weather tonight: Spotty showers

A few showers will linger Monday evening before clearing overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the 50s, which is seasonal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Afternoon showers and storms

Tuesday will start off with increasing clouds ahead of another chance for rain and thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will reach the mid-70s, which is 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
