Trey Hendrickson contract details: Bengals star agrees to revised one-year deal with Cincinnati following trade rumors

At various points, Trey Hendrickson seemed destined to land on the third team of his NFL career this offseason. Instead, the star pass rusher has finally re-upped with the Bengals .

After a long-lasting contract dispute, Cincinnati is closing in on a new deal with Hendrickson, according to Ian Rapoport. The deal will make Hendrickson one of the highest-paid defenders in the league for 2025, but it will reportedly only be a one-year solution to his contract situation that still makes him a free agent after the season.

Soon after the NFL offseason began, the team granted Hendrickson permission to seek a trade , but no deal ever materialize
