For all of the tense contract negotiations and verbal sparring in the ongoing Micah Parsons saga, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Sherese Parsons — the star’s mother — shared a light-hearted exchange at Dallas’ preseason game Friday.

As Jones appeared to be interacting with fans, he turned around at one point, spotted Sherese — wearing a No. 11 jersey with Parsons’ name on the back — and gave her a hug, before joking, “Now, Micah, why aren’t you out there playing? You act like you want some money or something.”

The pair then posed for a picture, which Parsons’ brother, Terrence, posted on X.
