BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The first community baby shower in Brazil is right around the corner.

The event is Saturday, August 30th. at the Brazil Public Library. It's something the community has worked on together to provide resources for expecting and infant mothers. According to library director Sarah Trover, Brazil has a high mortality rate for infants, and this is an effort to aid mothers with supplies and expert knowledge. Trover explains what to expect from the event.
