VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) - Students and staff at all three Vigo County high schools will help test what could be classrooms of the future.
At Monday night's school board meeting, board members heard from "Gibraltar Design." It's the company working with the school corporation to revamp school buildings and possibly build a new high school.
Kris Kingery is with Gibraltar. He explained how two prototype classrooms are being created in each of the current high schools.
One classroom will be for general education and the other for science. Students and staff will then use the prototype classrooms to see what they like and what they don't about the designs.
The goal is to create spaces that will best help students learn.
