WASHINGTON — "Black Panther" star Letitia Wright remembered her late costar Chadwick Boseman as the fifth anniversary of his death nears.
Wright posted photos of Boseman during his college years at Howard University to her Instagram story on Monday. She followed the story with another photo of a sunset and a message about facing the "tough" week each year.
"This week. every year since 2020. Is a tough one," she wrote. "But always a time of reflection, taking time to appreciate the beautiful soul of my brother."
Wright played the role of Shuri, the younger sister to Boseman's T'Challa, in Marvel's "Black Panther" films.
Boseman died from colon cancer on Aug. 28, 2020, at the age of 43.
