ROSELAND, La. — You've been seeing in our reports about the fire that black, oily film on the cars and streets.

After hearing from the governor and environmental officials late Monday afternoon, we are still not clear what is in it.

The U.S. EPA has been on site all weekend and promises to clean up all the waste from the fire and dispose of it in environmentally proper ways.

They are using vacuums and building an earthen berm to contain the spill.

And the Louisiana DEQ is taking air samples and posting them in real time on its website.
